Paint and Salt: Make It/Take It Workshop

Do you love to share the Gospel through the arts? Then, consider this workshop! Jesus taught His followers to show the Christian character of salt and light. Believers in Christ shine His light in mission with the Good News; and then flavor it with salt to preserve the soul, soften the heart and heal all wounds.

How do salt leaks play a role in evangelism? Salt leaks serve as both salt and light. The artist sheds His light through meaningful, artistic expressions of the salvation message,  guided by the Master Artist's own hand. The exciting part comes with salting the community with the Word embedded in faith art. In a world hungry for the truth of salvation, one gives away the salt leak creation as led either through individual contact or abandonment. Think of the salt leak as an artistic Gospel tract. Salt leaks can take many forms like mini books, cards, bookmarks, rocks. Anything item that can display the Gospel message. I posted a few examples below.

You don't need a background in art to learn how to make a salt leak, but do require a passion to live out the Great Commission. Why not give it a try? The first workshop will be held at my studio on June 23 at 6pm to 9pm. You can bring your own materials or pay a $10 material fee.
